Pest Management Technician - Logan City Council

Public Sector People is seeking a temporary Pest Management Technician to join Logan City Council’s team in Kingston.

This temporary assignment will focus on fire ant treatments, with the opportunity to contribute to important pest management activities within the local community. Candidates with mosquito management experience are also encouraged to apply.

• Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• Start/Finish: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out fire ant treatments across designated areas
• Following safe handling procedures and relevant treatment protocols
• Supporting pest management activities as directed

About You

• Experience in pest management, pesticide application or similar field-based work is an advantage
• Mosquito management experience is highly regarded
• Able to work safely outdoors and follow established procedures
