Project Manager

About The Role

Harrison Barratt Group is partnering with a well-regarded Sydney commercial builder known for high-quality fit-out, refurbishment, and new-build work across the workplace, retail, hospitality, education, and health sectors. With a strong pipeline and a tight, capable team, they're looking for an experienced Project Manager to report to the Director and take ownership of projects from planning and procurement through to handover. Projects typically range from $1M to $10M, often in live environments, and it's a great time to join and grow with the business.

What You'll Do

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, from planning and procurement through to handover
• Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and procurement schedules
• Own cost control, forecasting, variations and monthly reporting to senior management
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and consultants across concurrent projects
• Manage design coordination and review drawings, specifications and documentation
• Build strong relationships with clients, architects and stakeholders throughout delivery
• Identify and manage project risks and commercial outcomes
• Ensure quality, programme and WHS compliance on every project

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering commercial fit-out projects up to $10M
• Exposure to new build or design and construct (D&C) projects
• Strong commercial and financial management, including cost reporting and variations
• A solid understanding of construction methodology, programming and Australian contracts
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants and site teams
• Confidence delivering in live and occupied environments
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management or a related discipline (desired)
• A current driver's licence and full working rights in Australia
