AustCorp Executive is partnering with a well-established Australian manufacturer in Brisbane to find an experienced CNC Laser Operator. If you know your way around a laser and want steady, well-paid work on quality equipment, this is a role worth a look.

The Pay

• $36–$40 per hour base, depending on your experience

What You’ll Be Doing

• Setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines.
• Loading and unloading sheet metal and selecting the right programs.
• Monitoring cuts and machine performance to keep quality high.
• Reading engineering drawings and checking finished parts.
• Flagging quality or production issues early.
• Working alongside the production and programming teams.
• Keeping your work area clean, safe and organised.

What You’ll Bring

• Hands-on experience operating a CNC laser cutter.
• A background in sheet metal manufacturing or fabrication.
• Confidence reading engineering drawings.
• A sharp eye for detail and pride in quality work.
• Reliability and the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Experience with TRUMPF, LVD or similar machines is a big plus.
