Full Job Description

Our client is an Australian law firm with a strong national presence and a tier-one ranked Construction & Projects practice.

The Team

The Construction & Projects team advises major public and private sector clients on complex construction and infrastructure matters, with a strong focus on front-end construction, procurement and project delivery. The practice works across the energy and resources, renewable energy, transport and commercial development sectors.

Their Construction team is one of the largest dedicated projects practices in the Asia Pacific region.

The Role

An excellent opportunity exists for a Senior Associate to join a highly regarded Front-End Construction & Projects practice in Brisbane. Working closely with experienced Construction Partners and a collaborative team, you will:

• Advise on major construction and infrastructure projects across the public and private sectors.
• Assist clients with procurement strategies, tendering processes and project delivery arrangements.
• Advise on a broad range of project delivery models, including traditional construction and privately financed arrangements.
• Work directly with major government and corporate clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to the ongoing growth of the Construction & Projects practice.

About you

Ideally, you will have at least 12 months' experience at Senior Associate level, gained within a well-regarded private practice or relevant in-house environment.

Additionally, you will have:

• Strong experience in construction, projects or finance matters, ideally involving front-end transactions.
• Excellent drafting, analytical and technical skills.
• A sound understanding of construction procurement, contractual arrangements and project delivery structures.
• A proactive, collaborative approach and an interest in working on significant construction and infrastructure projects.
