Our client is a leading Australian law firm with a strong national presence and an established reputation in the Real Estate sector.

The Team

The Real Estate team advises major Australian clients on a broad range of property transactions, with expertise spanning acquisitions, development and leasing across diverse asset classes.

Lawyers within the team benefit from direct Partner access, early client responsibility and the opportunity to work on significant transactions within the Australian property market.

The Role

An excellent opportunity exists for a Lawyer (1–2 PAE) or Associate (3–4 PAE) to join a highly regarded Real Estate practice in Brisbane.

Working closely with an experienced Partner and a collaborative team, you will:

• Advise on a broad range of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, development and leasing matters.
• Act on transactions involving industrial, agricultural, hospitality, office and retail properties.
• Assist clients throughout the property transaction lifecycle.
• Draft, review and negotiate property transaction documents and commercial leasing arrangements.
• Manage multiple transactions and competing deadlines while working both independently and collaboratively.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to the ongoing growth of the Real Estate practice.

About you

Ideally, you will have 1-2 PAE as a Lawyer or 3-4 PAE as an Associate, gained within a well-regarded mid-tier or top-tier law firm.

Additionally, you will have:

• Strong experience in transactional property matters and commercial leasing.
• A sound understanding of property development processes and the broader commercial property market.
• Excellent drafting, communication and transaction management skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
