Project Architect/ Senior Architect

Build Px

Date: 4 weeks ago
City: Brisbane, Queensland
Contract type: Full time

The Opportunity

Brisbane is in the middle of one of the most significant built environment moments in its history — and this studio is positioned squarely in the middle of it. With a strong project pipeline driven by the lead-up to the 2032 Olympics and the broader city transformation underway, this is an exceptional time to join a practice that is busy, growing, and working on projects that genuinely matter.

This is an opportunity for a Project Architect or Senior Architect to join a well-regarded Brisbane studio and take a meaningful role across a diverse range of projects — from commercial work tied to the city’s growth, through to nationally significant projects driven by federal investment. You will work across all phases — from early design through to construction delivery — and have the opportunity to grow your leadership and client-facing experience in a supportive environment.

Company Insights

Join a respected Brisbane-based architectural studio with a track record of delivering quality commercial and nationally significant projects — including work that is federally driven and operates at a scale that few studios in Queensland can match. They have cultivated a culture that values collaboration, technical rigour, and genuine professional development. The leadership team are experienced, approachable, and invested in growing the people around them. With a solid pipeline of work secured and further opportunities in view, the studio is in a strong position — and looking for the right person to grow with them.

Role Insights

This role suits someone who wants to own their projects — not just contribute to them. You will be the primary point of contact across multiple projects, managing consultant coordination, driving documentation, and playing a key role in client and stakeholder relationships. Whether you are a Project Architect ready to take on more senior responsibility, or an experienced Senior Architect looking for a studio where you can genuinely contribute, this role has the scope to grow around the right person.

  • 5+ years of architectural experience, with demonstrated end-to-end project delivery
  • Registered Architect or working toward registration (both considered)

  • Experience across commercial or major project typologies is highly regarded
  • Strong communicator with proven ability to manage clients, consultants, and builders
  • Collaborative team player with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
