Urgent requirement of IS Retail Functional Consultant - Contract - Sydney

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Lead retail application implementation and support activities.
• Work on retail business processes including:
  • Merchandising, Inventory Management
  • Pricing & Promotions, Point of Sale (POS)
  • Order Management, Supply Chain & Warehouse Operations
  • Omnichannel Retail
• Conduct workshops, fit-gap analysis, and solution demonstrations.
• Prepare functional design documents (FDD), BRD, user stories, and process flows.
• Coordinate with technical and integration teams during implementation.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect management, and production deployment.
• Provide post-production support and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with offshore and onsite teams in agile delivery environments.
• Ensure compliance with Australian retail business standards and operational processes.

Required Experience

• 6+ years of experience in Retail Functional Consulting
• Experience working with large retail enterprises
• Exposure to end-to-end implementation/support projects
• Experience with Australian or APAC retail clients preferred
• Strong stakeholder and client management experience

Technical Skills

• SAP IS-Retail / Oracle Retail / Manhattan / JDA / Blue Yonder (depending on project)
• SQL basics and data analysis
• Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow
• API/integration understanding
• Agile/Scrum methodologies

Duration: 06 Months and possible extension
