The Role

As a Speech Pathologist, you will work as part of a mobile and in facility, multidisciplinary team delivering services to adults across aged care facilities and the community.

You’ll manage your own caseload and schedule, focusing on improving communication, swallowing safety, and overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and manage communication and swallowing disorders (dysphagia)
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions across residential aged care and community settings
  • Develop and implement person-centred therapy and management plans
  • Provide education to clients, families, carers and care staff
  • Manage a flexible, self-directed caseload
  • Deliver telehealth services where appropriate
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation

About You

  • Degree in Speech Pathology + SPA membership (or eligibility)
  • Experience or interest in adult caseloads and dysphagia
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
