About the Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Solution Architects to join a major federal government digital transformation environment delivering enterprise-scale ICT initiatives across multiple business domains.

These roles offer the opportunity to work on complex and high-impact programs involving cloud architecture, enterprise integration, security design, and large-scale systems transformation within a highly secure and collaborative environment.

• Location: ACT, NSW, VIC and QLD
• Hybrid work arrangement
• Baseline security clearance is must

Key Responsibilities

As a Solution Architect, you will:

• Develop conceptual, logical and physical solution architectures

• Produce high-level solution designs, architectural decisions and security impact assessments

• Collaborate with enterprise architects, delivery teams and business stakeholders to align solutions with enterprise standards

• Support program and project delivery through architecture governance and technical leadership

• Identify and mitigate technology risks and architecture issues

• Ensure architecture artefacts meet governance, security and compliance requirements

• Contribute to business process improvement and systems modernisation initiatives

• Provide architectural guidance across cloud, integration and software delivery domains

• Build strong stakeholder relationships across technical and non-technical teams

• Support knowledge transfer and documentation practices

Required Skills and Experience

The successful candidates will demonstrate experience in:

• Enterprise and solution architecture within complex ICT environments

• Designing scalable, secure and modern enterprise solutions

• Business process analysis and improvement

• Systems and software design for large or complex applications

• Stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration

• Developing architecture artefacts including solution blueprints and technical roadmaps

• Architecture governance and compliance processes

• Cloud architecture, SOA and modern SDLC practices

• Applying TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks

• Working with architecture repositories and modelling tools

Highly Desirable

• Experience producing technology roadmaps and strategic reports

• Information assurance and accreditation experience

• Strong governance and compliance capability

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience developing architecture standards, policies and guidance

Contract Details

• Initial contract through to June 2027

• Extension options available

• Full-time engagement
