Financial Accountant, Multiple Roles | Not-for-Profit

Location: Inner-North, Brisbane

Work Arrangement: Full-time, 2 days WFH.

Office: Parking available on-site

The Opportunity

With multiple roles available, apply or email if you are a Financial Accountant who either:

• Wants to become more commercially-focused, working on budgets and forecasts.

OR

• Wants to work directly with the Manager - Financial Reporting.

Your Impact

• Financial Processing: Prepare and post journals, accruals, prepayments, and cost reallocations. Complete month-end reconciliations to ensure timely financial close.
• Reporting & Analysis: Produce variance analysis, workforce cost reports, and financial insights. Maintain cost centre, funding stream, and program-level data.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial modelling.
• Revenue & Funding Compliance: Support revenue recognition, claiming validation, and reconciliation of program income. Monitor billing exceptions and unclaimed revenue.
• Stakeholder Support: Provide expenditure tracking and revenue analysis to service managers. Assist in improving financial literacy across operational teams.

About You

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: Previous experience in financial analysis, accounting support, or management reporting.
• Communication: Ability to present financial information to stakeholders clearly and manage workloads to meet deadlines.
• Qualifications (Advantageous): CA/CPA
