Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

This is a highly visible role reporting to the Head of FP&A, offering the chance to translate financial results into actionable insights, influence strategic decisions, and partner across the business to drive performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, forecasting, and reporting cycle, partnering with senior leadership to deliver commercial insights and support strategic decision-making across the business.
- Translate financial results into clear and compelling narratives for Executive Leadership and Global Head Office, highlighting key trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers.
- Consolidate insights across multiple business units to provide an enterprise-wide view of business performance and support longer-term strategic planning.
- Deliver high-quality management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, board reporting, and ad hoc analysis to support both operational and strategic outcomes.
- Partner closely with commercial finance and operational stakeholders to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities, and influence business performance.
- Support strategic initiatives including profitability analysis, cost optimisation, investment evaluation, and scenario modelling.
- Act as a key liaison with Systems and Data teams to drive reporting enhancements, automation, process improvement, and reporting standardisation initiatives.
- Mentor and support offshore team members, helping drive collaboration, accountability, and high-quality outputs across the wider finance function.
About You
- CA/CPA qualified with 5-10 years' experience in a finance function.
- Experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or finance business partnering from a large and complex organisation (essential).
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate numbers into business stories.
- Experience producing and presenting business packs to executives.
- Collaborative, confident, and capable of influencing senior stakeholders.
- Highly organised with strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience with large planning/reporting tools advantageous.
