About the role

Reporting into senior finance leadership, this role offers broad exposure across financial reporting, tax compliance, month-end processes, and finance operations across multiple entities and sites.

This opportunity is ideally suited to an Accountant or Assistant Accountant with experience in hospitality, accommodation, property, or other multi-site environments looking to step into a broad and hands-on role.

Key responsibilities include

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Managing accounts payable and receivable processes
• Assisting with GST and income tax returns
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Assisting with year-end statutory reporting and audit requirements
• Supporting finance operations across multiple entities/sites
• Assisting with process improvement initiatives and ad hoc finance tasks

About you

You will bring prior accounting experience within a fast-paced environment and enjoy working across a broad finance function with exposure to operational stakeholders.

You will have:

• Minimum 2 years’ accounting experience
• Exposure to hospitality, accommodation, property, or multi-site environments highly regarded
• Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• CA/CPA qualified or currently studying towards completion
• Strong Excel and financial systems capability
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively within a team environment
