Accounts Officer

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Finance Officer to join a well-established organisation based in Brisbane’s inner city.

Working closely with a supportive Finance Manager, you’ll take on a varied role supporting accounts payable, receivable and reconciliations, playing a key part in the day-to-day finance function.

This is an initial 4 month temporary contract, well suited to someone immediately available and looking for a short term assignment.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-end Accounts Payable processing
• Accounts Receivable, including invoicing and collections
• Bank, account and balance sheet reconciliations
• Allocations and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Managing queries from internal stakeholders and external suppliers/customers
• Supporting continuous improvement across finance processes

About You

• 2-5+ years’ experience in a Finance Officer or Accounts role
• Strong exposure across both AP and AR functions
• Experience working in a commercial, fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail with a proactive mindset
• Confident communicator who can build relationships with stakeholders
• Comfortable working with systems and intermediate Excel skills
