Automation Test Lead

Urgent requirement of Automation Test Lead - Perm/Contract- Melbourne

Requirements

• Must have 5+ Years of experience as Automation test Lead
• Must drive end-to-end quality strategy, automation implementation, and technical leadership across API-driven, microservices-based retail platforms
• Should have expertise in API automation, contract testing, mocking/stubbing frameworks, and hands-on capability with Playwright, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile sprint delivery
• QE Lead will partner closely with engineering, product, and architecture teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, and reliable digital experiences for retail customers
• Own delivery of API test automation frameworks ensuring high coverage, reliability, and performance
• Should Implement contract testing (e.g., Pact) to ensure consumer-provider compatibility across distributed systems
• Very Good Communication Skills

Duration: Permanent / 6 Months and possible extension
