Program Specialist

One of our government clients is seeking to engage Program Specialists for Sydney location- hybrid working arrangements

Please note Candidate must have Australian Citizenship/ PR

Roles: Program Director and Program Manager

Initial contract duration-6 months

Location of work- Sydney

Working arrangements- Hybrid

Program Manager

• Lead development of project management documentation including plans, schedules, and resource/resource planning

• Deliver regular project reporting including budget tracking, forecasting, risks/issues, and performance updates

• Conduct risk analysis to support safe and effective program delivery

• Ensure governance compliance and quality assurance across project activities

• Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders in complex delivery environments

Required Experience

Strong program/project management experience in complex environments (transport/rail preferred)

Proven capability in reporting, scheduling, budgeting, and governance

Experience in risk analysis and mitigation

Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Project Director

• Lead multi-disciplinary teams delivering strategic project portfolios

• Drive end-to-end project delivery within complex infrastructure environments

• Manage senior stakeholder expectations and resolve delivery challenges

• Provide strategic guidance on budgets, resources, risks, and governance

• Collaborate across multiple teams to ensure alignment and best practice delivery

Required Experience

Extensive experience leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary project portfolios

Strong background in transport/rail or infrastructure delivery

Executive-level stakeholder management and negotiation skills

Proven expertise in governance, risk, budget, and delivery oversight
