Speech Language Pathologist for Group & 1:1 Role

Move Through Co is a dynamic youth disability organisation that provides group based and individual therapeutic supports to YP aged 12-30. We have an innovative and unique approach to disability care - taking practitioners out of the clinical setting and offering explorative and flexible pathways for young neurodivergent teens/adults.

Role Description

Move Through Co is seeking a part-time speech pathologist. In this on-site role located in the Surry Hills, Sydney - you will provide individualized assessments, develop tailored support plans, create and facilitate group based supports, and have the opportunity to build a 1:1 case load additionally. Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team, you will make a positive impact by helping our young people find their unique pathway to mental wellness, future career and meaningful relationships.

About You

• Qualification & registration as a Speech Therapist
• Able to work creatively in devising and facilitating social and therapeutic based group supports
• Strong skills in conducting client assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy strategies
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients, families, and colleagues in a multidisciplinary setting
• Familiarity with NDIS framework and experience providing services under NDIS-funded programs (preferable)
• A youthful approach to your clinical work, a passion and excitement for working with youth
