Our client is a well-established and highly regarded Investment Advice firm with 40+ staff in their head office based in Newcastle. They have great career development opportunities and are looking for Business / Commerce Graduates to join their Graduate Program.

We are open to graduates and experienced Adviser Assistants / Paraplanners applying for this role.
The role
- Manage Advice Documents: Oversee the preparation and production of advice documents through our external paraplanning service provider.
- Investment Management Support: Assist the investment management team with the preparation of investment reports, approved product lists, and documents for Investment Committee meetings.
- Development: Develop the highest level of understanding in superannuation, Self-Managed Superannuation Funds, taxation, business structures, social security and estate planning.
- Financial Modelling: Operate and develop financial models to determine appropriate client strategies.
- Strategy Implementation: Implement agreed client strategies, complete necessary paperwork, and liaise with suppliers.
- Portfolio Evaluation: Support the evaluation and performance review of client portfolios.
Experience
- Commerce or Finance Graduate with great academic record
- Strong analytical and Excel skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate on investments
- Open to penultimate year students
