Role Title: Azure Infra / AKS SME

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Infra / AKS SME with strong expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Infrastructure Administration, Terraform, and Azure DevOps. This role involves managing and supporting enterprise-scale Azure environments, ensuring high availability, security, automation, and operational excellence. The role requires hands-on experience in Kubernetes administration, infrastructure troubleshooting, CI/CD pipeline management, cloud governance, and infrastructure automation for containerized workloads in production environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments including cluster provisioning, upgrades, patching, scaling, and high availability configurations.
• Administer Azure infrastructure services such as VMs, VNets, NSGs, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, App Services, Load Balancers, and Application Gateways.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps for automated deployments and containerized workloads.
• Support and enhance Terraform-based infrastructure automation, including module management, remote state handling, validation, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve infrastructure, networking, Linux OS, and container-related issues while ensuring security, governance, and operational reliability.

Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and deep understanding of Kubernetes concepts including pods, services, ingress, networking, and scheduling.
• Expertise in Azure Infrastructure Administration including Azure networking, RBAC, identity management, governance policies, and cloud security best practices.
• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning, module-based development, state management, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps including YAML pipelines, branching strategies, service connections, deployment approvals, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Linux administration, containers, and distributed systems in high-availability environments.
