Contract Administrator - Remedial

Contract Administrator to join a well-established remedial builder delivering complex façade remediation, structural rectification, waterproofing, and defects projects across Sydney.
Working across multiple remedial and upgrade projects, you will play a key role in the commercial management of works from procurement through to final accounts. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing contractor with a strong pipeline of remedial Class 2, heritage, and live environment projects throughout Sydney Metro.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project requirements
- Prepare and manage subcontract agreements, purchase orders, RFIs, and variations
- Coordinate procurement processes including tendering, scope reviews, and subcontract negotiations
- Assess subcontractor progress claims and variation submissions
- Assist project teams with cost tracking, forecasting, and budget management
- Work closely with Project Managers to identify and mitigate commercial risks
- Maintain accurate project financial records and reporting documentation
- Support delivery teams across façade remediation, concrete repair, waterproofing, and defect rectification packages
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry, ideally within remedial, refurbishment, façade, or residential sectors
- Exposure to remedial rectification projects, live environment works, or Class 2 defect projects highly regarded
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control
- Ability to manage multiple packages and stakeholders simultaneously
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office and contract management systems
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline
