Legal Counsel - Construction & Commercial Contracts

A global leader in infrastructure and mobility solutions is seeking a Senior Legal/Legal Counsel to join its in-house legal team in Sydney. With over 1,000 employees in Australia and a strong reputation for delivering safe, reliable and sustainable solutions, the company plays a key role in shaping urban environments.

The Role

Working within a small, collaborative legal team, this position has a strong focus on construction and commercial contracts. You’ll provide legal support across a wide range of business activities and play a key role in contract management and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating construction and commercial contracts
• Advising the business on contractual risk and strategy
• Supporting governance and compliance matters
• Engaging with internal stakeholders and external advisors

Candidates at least 3 years PQE level experience with construction law experience and will consider backend/litigation backgrounds or those with strong corporate or general commercial experience gained in a construction or infrastructure-related environment.
