Electrical Project Manager

Core Talent are currently working with a leading national electrical contractor based in Brisbane, who specialise in delivery of high-end Commercial, Educational, Industrial & Data projects across SE Queensland. Due to recent project wins, they are now seeking an Electrical Project Manager & Senior Electrical Project Manager to join their team.

Role: Electrical Project Manager

Salary: $150-$170k

Role: Senior Electrical Project Manager

Salary: $170-$180k

Package: + Super, Company Ute, Fuel & Toll tags, Company expenses & Annual Bonus Scheme.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and scheduling projects to ensure timely delivery within critical deadlines.
• Overseeing all phases of electrical projects, from initial planning through to successful completion.
• Tracking and managing project budgets to ensure financial targets are met.
• Delivering high-quality projects that meet safety, quality, and profitability standards.
• Leading and managing project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, to achieve project goals.
• Maintaining clear and effective communication with project stakeholders to strengthen relationships.
• Reviewing and approving key project deliverables, such as design drawings and specifications.
• Managing Design & Construct (D&C) projects, collaborating with consultants to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Implementing and monitoring safety protocols, including risk assessments and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
• Preparing and submitting monthly progress claims and variations for approval.
• Sourcing and procuring necessary materials for project execution.
• Utilising job management software (JMS) such as SimPRO, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office to manage and track project progress.

Requirements for the role

• A minimum of 3-5 years proven experience in a similar role
• Experience managing projects up to or above $3m
• Comprehensive knowledge of electrical and communication standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Simpro & Bluebeam experience advantageous
• QLD Electrical Licence & White Card
• QLD Drivers Licence
• CPR/LVR Certificate
