HR Business Partner

Our client is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support leaders across a large, complex organisation within the utilities sector. This role will partner closely with the business across strategic and operational HR initiatives, with a strong focus on employee relations, industrial relations, and EBA interpretation and support.
Working within a collaborative People & Culture team, you will play a key role in supporting leadership capability, workforce planning, performance management, and organisational change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to provide strategic and operational HR support
- Manage employee and industrial relations matters, including investigations and dispute resolution
- Support performance management, remuneration, workforce planning, and talent initiatives
- Provide advice on enterprise agreements, policies, procedures, and Fair Work legislation
- Support leadership capability uplift through coaching and guidance
- Contribute to organisational design, succession planning, and retention strategies
- Analyse HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and risks
- Support broader HR projects, change initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior HR Business Partner or HR advisory role within a large, complex organisation
- Strong employee and industrial relations experience, including workplace investigations
- Solid understanding of Fair Work legislation, enterprise agreements, and HR best practice
- Experience partnering with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving capability
- Ability to operate in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
- Experience with SAP and/or SuccessFactors highly regarded
- Utilities, infrastructure, industrial, or operational industry experience highly regarded
