We are partnering with a prestigious consulting services organisation with a significant footprint across the Energy sector. They are currently supporting a valued end client that is undergoing a period of strategic recalibration and focused operational uplift, with particular emphasis on process optimisation and cost efficiency.

As part of this initiative, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced process & cost focused Transformation Consultant to deliver a high-impact, short-term engagement. This role will centre on conducting a comprehensive review of current operating expenditure, identifying inefficiencies, and uncovering opportunities to enhance operational effectiveness, improve cost discipline, and drive long-term sustainability.

About the role

you will take a structured, evidence-based approach to:

• Review current operating models
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and optimise processes
• Develop clear, data-driven recommendations for future state operations
• Assess and articulate associated risks, trade-offs, and implementation considerations
• Present findings and insights to senior stakeholders
• This is a highly visible engagement requiring both analytical rigour and strategic thinking, with the ability to navigate complex environments and deliver pragmatic outcomes.

About you

You are a seasoned consultant with a track record of delivering operational improvement, cost optimisation, or transformation initiatives, ideally within the energy sector.

Your background may include:

• Strategy & Operations Consulting

• Business Transformation / Operating Model Design
• Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence

Experience in sectors such as energy, utilities, renewables, or broader infrastructure will be highly regarded.
