English Teacher

St Pius X College, Chatswood is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and innovative English

teacher for a short temporary assignment from 3 June until 25 June 2026. The ideal candidate

will be an outstanding classroom practitioner who has the ability to inspire students to

achieve personal excellence.

St Pius X College is a Catholic Independent Years 5 – 12 boys’ school in the Edmund Rice

Tradition and is dedicated to developing critical and creative thinkers who are resilient and

The successful applicant will:

• Demonstrate an understanding of effective child safeguarding practices
• Demonstrate excellence as a classroom teacher
• Be qualified to teach Stage 4, 5 and 6 English
• Differentiate learning for students with diverse abilities
