In this role, you'll:
Play a key part in developing and maintaining clear, consistent and fit for purpose Infrastructure Management System (IMS) documentation that supports effective governance, compliance and delivery outcomes across IPE disciplines. Working closely with subject matter experts, you will translate complex project management and operational concepts into accessible documentation aligned to organisational standards and best practice.
More specifically you will
- Draft, edit and maintain IMS, procedures and guidelines across project controls, project management and related operational functions
- Ensure documentation aligns with organisational practices, regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across project delivery and operational teams to validate and refine content
- Coordinate document ownership, scheduled reviews and approval workflows to support effective documentation governance
- Maintain and curate content within the centralised IMS repository, ensuring accessibility, accuracy and version control
- Participate in peer reviews and quality assurance activities to uphold documentation standards
- Support training and engagement activities that promote awareness and correct use of IMS documentation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the clarity, usability and integration of content

About You
You are an experienced technical writer with a strong understanding of documentation governance and lifecycle management, ideally gained in a project management, project controls or operational environment. You are highly collaborative, customer focused and skilled at engaging with diverse stakeholders to produce clear, consistent and user centred documentation that supports organisational outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in technical writing or editing
- Strong understanding of documentation management systems
- Proven ability to work with subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, practical documentation
- Well developed communication skills, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality outcomes
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in editing, technical communication or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
