We're looking for a hands-on technician who lives and breathes cloud-based phone systems and networking. You'll manage incoming support tickets, configure and maintain VoIP and unified communications platforms, troubleshoot connectivity issues end to end, and be the go-to expert when calls aren't connecting and audio isn't flowing. This is a fully remote role (with occasional travel for work) for someone who can work independently and solve problems without hand-holding.
What you'll do: – Manage and resolve incoming support tickets, working issues to resolution and meeting SLAs – Configure cloud-based phone systems as needed (3CX, Amazon Connect, and similar) — SIP trunks, extensions, IVRs, call routing, queues – Maintain and support current systems, keeping them reliable and up to date – Diagnose VoIP issues: registration failures, one-way audio, latency, jitter, NAT traversal – Configure and troubleshoot networking — routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, QoS – Manage DNS, port forwarding, and VPN connectivity for voice traffic – Coordinate with vendors and carriers on escalated issues.
What you bring: – 3–6 years hands-on with cloud/hosted VoIP platforms – Direct experience with 3CX (cert a plus) and Amazon Connect – Solid networking fundamentals — TCP/IP, SIP/RTP, VLANs, QoS, firewalls, NAT – Experience working a support ticket queue – Strong troubleshooting from the handset to the network edge – Clear communication for remote client support
Salary $80,000–$95,000/year based on experience and certifications. Fully remote with flexible scheduling; occasional travel for work.
