Supervisor - Safety Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a full-time or part-time Supervisor – Safety Advisor NSW, located in Sydney, NSW. This role primarily involves supporting LMS operations across NSW by providing coaching and advice on safety-related matters and fostering a safety-first culture that prioritises workplace safety without compromise.
Reporting directly to the Manager, this role will play a key role in enabling the Safety team to deliver on key objectives through effective support and collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Guide the proper implementation of health and safety requirements, adhering to corporate policies, procedures, and practices that support the company's safety goals.
- Exemplify the company's 'Zero Harm' approach, actively identifying and implementing improvements.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety systems, ensuring the reporting, investigation, and control of hazards, non-conformances, incidents, and injuries/illnesses.
- Lead and/or facilitate incident investigations, examine findings, and make recommendations to ensure the efficacy and integrity of the process.
- Assist in monitoring legislative changes and advise on actions to close gaps, ensuring compliance across the business.
- Share information, suggestions, and observations with management to establish consistency in safety standards throughout the company.
- Conduct site safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with WHS and LMS requirements.
- Advise and coach staff in hazard identification and risk assessments to mitigate health and safety risks.
Requirements
- Tertiary Qualifications in Work Health and Safety Management – Cert IV or above.
- 5+ years of WHS experience, preferably within the energy, construction, or mining industries.
- Australian Drivers Licence
