This is a hands-on origination role for someone who understands how asset backed deals are structured, knows how to manage broker relationships with genuine credibility, and wants to be part of a lean, high-performing team where results are recognised.

The Role

As Broker Relationship Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for Renown Lending’s broker and referral partner network. You will be responsible for growing the asset backed lending book by managing existing relationships and developing new ones, while ensuring every transaction is assessed, structured, and progressed with discipline and speed.

You will work directly with the credit and operations team to take deals from initial enquiry through to settlement — owning the process end to end and acting as the bridge between brokers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of active broker and referral partner relationships across your territory

• Receive, assess, and qualify incoming deal enquiries against Renown Lending’s credit appetite and asset backed lending criteria

• Prepare indicative terms, credit submissions, and deal summaries for internal review

• Guide brokers through the transaction process from LOI to settlement, providing clear communication and realistic timeframes

• Identify new broker and referral opportunities through proactive business development activity

• Work closely with the credit team to structure transactions that are commercially sound and appropriately secured

• Maintain accurate pipeline records and provide regular reporting on deal flow and relationship activity

• Represent Renown Lending professionally at industry events and broker meetings

What We’re Looking For

• Demonstrated experience in asset backed lending, commercial finance, or a related credit or origination role

• A strong existing broker network or the credibility and capability to build one quickly

• Sound understanding of security structures, LVR assessment, and credit fundamentals in an asset backed context

• Commercially minded with the ability to assess a deal quickly and give brokers a clear, direct answer

• Excellent communication and relationship management skills — you are responsive, reliable, and easy to deal with

• Able to manage multiple transactions simultaneously without losing attention to detail

• Self-motivated and comfortable operating in a lean environment where initiative is expected
