What’s the Role?

As an ILS Manager, you'll play a central role in the strategic planning and delivery of integrated logistics for complex Defence programs. From developing ILS plans and managing supply chains to ensuring materiel readiness and compliance, your work will directly support Australia’s national capability.

Who You Are

You're an experienced logistics professional who can think strategically and act decisively. You're comfortable navigating complexity, leading ILS programs, and working side-by-side with Defence, project teams and engineers.

What You’ll Bring

• Logistics Expertise: Logistics planning, procurement, sustainment, and distribution for Defence.

• Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to plan, execute, and assure ILS frameworks across capability lifecycles.

• Communication Skills: Confident working with technical teams and senior stakeholders alike.

• Problem-Solving: A structured approach to identifying risks and delivering solutions.

• Leadership: Ability to guide teams and drive ILS maturity.

• Maritime or Defence domain logistics experience.

• Security Clearance: AGSVA NV1 or above.

Bonus Points If You’ve Got

• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning specifically SAP S/4HANA, CMT-L or Commonwealth procurement and sustainment systems

• Qualifications in ILS, engineering or related disciplines

• Knowledge of the One Defence Capability System
