The role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive EPMO Project Assurance Officer to support enterprise-wide project delivery and the uplift of project management capability across Council.

Working within a dynamic environment, this role plays a key part in strengthening project governance and assurance, improving consistency and contributing towards the successful delivery of Council wide projects, programs and initiatives. You will partner with project owners, project managers, business units and senior stakeholders to drive best practice project management, reporting and assurance.

About You

We are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented professional with strong experience in project assurance or EPMO functions, ideally within a complex or public sector environment. You will bring a solid understanding of project management and a passion for improving systems and ways of working. With excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, you can confidently support and influence teams across the organisation while delivering clear, high-quality reporting and insights. You are analytical, proactive and committed to continuous improvement, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and hands-on support to drive consistent, effective project delivery across Council.
