Private Equity Associate - Infrastructure and Renewables

Our client, a top global Private Equity platform, led by a number of highly regarded executives with impressive track records of returns across sectors, including the broad Infrastructure and Renewables sectors, are looking to add an Investment Associate to the team based in Sydney.

About the role

This role will support the execution of transactions within the Fund’s mandate and will contribute to devising and refining an investment strategy for Australia/NZ together with the Partners and VP's.

Responsibilities in this role will include:

• Complete detailed due diligence and financial modelling on selected projects;
• Develop recommendations around the optimal disposal of assets;
• Develop and execute a regional investment strategy from origination to exit;
• Establish and manage relationships to gain access to potential transactions;

About you

Our client is looking for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment where change is inevitable. Ideally, you will have:

• 2-4 years of Sell side experience in the ANZ Infrastructure / renewables related markets;
• Significant experience in transaction execution of energy and infrastructure assets;
• Highly developed Financial modelling skills
• Strong commercial acumen coupled with analytical skills;
• Strong project execution and operations management skills;
• Strategic thinking skills.
