Legal Assistant - ENR

This role will support a Partner in our ENR practice. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the partner and fee earners and contribute to the ongoing success of the practice.
You will work closely with a Partner who is approachable, collaborative and values structure and organisation. As such, this role requires an experienced Legal Assistant who can bring initiative, guidance and a proactive mindset to achieve best practice support.
Key responsibilities include
- Supporting the Partner to meet deadlines and ensure the smooth running of the practice
- Managing a busy inbox and diary, including coordinating meetings
- Billing, time recording, and expense management
- Preparation of correspondence, emails and legal documents
- Matter management including opening and closing files, archiving, and electronic and physical filing
- Assisting with telephone enquiries and developing strong internal and external relationships
- Coordinating travel bookings, meetings and team events
- Maintaining an organised and structured workflow, supporting both the Partner and broader team
- Supporting business development activities and contributing to practice growth initiatives
Required skills and experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Legal Assistant in a law firm or professional services environment
- Highly organised with strong time management and the ability to prioritise effectively
- Proactive and confident in taking ownership and guiding ways of working
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience with CMS Aderant Expert (or similar finance systems) and NetDocuments (or similar document management systems)
- A collaborative and adaptable approach, with a willingness to contribute to a growing and evolving team
