Civil Engineer / Project Manager

Phase 3 Projects (P3P) is a Townsville-based construction management and infrastructure consultancy. We started the business in 2022 with a clear view of how infrastructure should be delivered — and we're now building the team to do more of it.

We work with local councils, state government agencies, developers and resources sector clients to deliver transport and civil infrastructure projects across Queensland. Our work spans project development, pre-construction, design management and construction delivery, from mid-scale through to major works.

This is an opportunity to support a fairly new and developing company as it grows its identity and culture across the Queensland region, building a great environment for all our staff.

Role Description

We're looking for experienced civil engineers and project managers based anywhere from Cairns to Southeast Queensland. You'd focus on projects and client relationships in your local region

These are client-facing roles. You'll work independently on your own projects, but as part of a team with the systems and structure behind you. You'll own your work, with the backing to do it well.

About you

You're a delivery-focused professional who can drive a project from pre-construction through to handover and knows how to work with clients and contractors to get there.

Essential candidate experience:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in civil or transport infrastructure delivery across transport, ports, water infrastructure or asset management
• Strong grounding in project delivery, contract administration or pre-construction
• Tertiary qualification — a degree in Civil Engineering (or an equivalent Civil Engineering qualification accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia for full membership (MIEAust)
• Based anywhere from Cairns to Southeast Queensland
• Australian citizenship or valid working rights in Australia

Desirable:

• RPEQ registration
• TMR prequalification aligned with IBCP
• QBCC Builder (Project Management Services) licence
