The ISLHD Drug and Alcohol Service deliver a range of treatment and support services for people encountering problems with their alcohol or substance use and their families and carers.
The ISLHD Whole Family Team provides high quality care to families to ensure the provision of evidence based interventions and optimal health outcomes consistent with ISLHD policies, procedures, standards, relevant legislation, and the NSW Health Code of Conduct. The Whole Family Team provides specialist clinical drug and alcohol and mental health services to families where there are also existing child protection concerns. These complex families often have co-occurring drug and alcohol and mental health issues, domestic violence, social disadvantage and other physical health and social issues.
The Whole Family Team Drug and Alcohol Clinical Psychologist works intensively and assertively with families to assist in managing their mental health and drug and alcohol issues and developing the skills necessary to provide a safe and nurturing environment for their children.

In the Shoalhaven, ISLHD operates three hospital sites: David Berry Hospital, Shoalhaven Memorial Hospital and Milton Ulladulla Hospital.
