An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech Pathologist to join the Liverpool Hospital Speech Pathology Department in a permanent position within the adult clinical team. Liverpool Hospital is a large tertiary hospital with a wide range of clinical opportunities and a dynamic and multicultural community.
This role offers a diverse and rewarding clinical experience, with rotations across a broad range of specialty areas, including:
- Neurosciences
- Aged care
- Palliative care
- Brain injury rehabilitation
- Head and neck oncology Respiratory and critical care

Selection Criteria
To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.
- Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Demonstrated post graduate clinical knowledge, experience and skills in management of adults with a range of acquired swallowing and communication difficulties in an acute hospital and rehabilitation setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience with instrumental swallowing assessments (VFSS &/or FEES).
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of and the demonstrated ability to implement the quality improvement process.
Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
