Our client is a leading Australian institutional equities platform with a highly regarded research franchise and a strong reputation across the institutional investment community. With a particular focus on the Small and Mid-Cap (SMID Cap) segment of the Australian market, the firm has established itself as a trusted adviser to both institutional investors and ASX-listed companies.

Due to continued growth and increasing demand for its research product, our client is seeking to appoint an experienced Senior Industrials Analyst as a strategic growth hire within its highly regarded Industrials franchise. This appointment will further strengthen the firm's research capability and market presence as it continues to expand its platform.

Based in either Sydney or Melbourne, this is an opportunity to assume meaningful sector responsibility covering a portfolio of emerging Industrials companies listed on the ASX. Working alongside a highly credentialed team of investment professionals, you will be responsible for generating differentiated investment insights, producing high-quality research and maintaining strong relationships with corporate management teams and institutional investors.

Key requirements

• Minimum 5–10 years' experience as a sell-side Industrials Analyst, with a demonstrable track record covering ASX-listed companies and generating differentiated, actionable investment ideas.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and written communication skills, coupled with an established network of corporate management teams and institutional investors.
• Experience covering the Small and Mid-Cap (SMID Cap) segment of the Australian market will be highly regarded.
• A self-motivated, commercially minded professional who thrives within a collaborative, high-performance environment.
