What You Will Be Doing

As an AIC Technician, you will play a key role in the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of field-based pumping and water treatment systems. While the role is predominantly site-based, you will also complete workshop preparation between deployments.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Installation and commissioning of small to large-scale pumping systems
  • Mobilisation and demobilisation of plant and equipment
  • Performing maintenance and repairs on pumping and field-based systems
  • Conducting functional testing of pumping systems
  • Preparing equipment and materials in the workshop for upcoming site works
  • Interpreting system drawings and BOMs to support installations
  • Completing inspection, testing, and safety documentation accurately and on time
  • Collaborating with workshop trades and project teams
  • Delivering exceptional customer service and representing the brand professionally
  • Assisting with additional duties as directed by your Supervisor

What You Will Need

  • Current Drivers Licence
  • White Card (General Construction Induction)
  • Forklift Licence (LF) or willingness to obtain
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to safety and compliance

Desirable

  • Experience in construction, dewatering, or pump systems
  • HR Licence
  • Confined Space, Working at Heights, or Poly Welding tickets
  • Trade qualification (e.g. Plumbing)
  • Background in mining or heavy industry environments
