Founded by chocolatier (and former lawyer), Carol, deliciously yours is a Sydney-based artisan chocolate studio dedicated to handcrafted chocolates made with premium ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. From moulded bonbons and traditional European truffles to seasonal collections and bespoke creations, we produce small-batch chocolates in a hands-on, creative environment that values craftsmanship, learning and continuous improvement. As a growing business, we offer the opportunity to develop skills across all aspects of artisan chocolate production.

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Chocolatier to join our small team in a part-time capacity (approximately 3 days per week initially, with potential to increase to 5 days per week). The role is on-site position located in our chocolate boutique in Five Dock, Sydney.

This role would suit a pastry student, apprentice, junior chocolatier looking to further develop their skills in a hands-on production environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the owner and and be involved in a broad range of chocolate production activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production of bonbons, bars, truffles and other chocolate products
  • Chocolate tempering using a variety of methods
  • Working with coloured cocoa butter and chocolate decoration techniques
  • Enrobing and finishing chocolate products
  • Assisting with seasonal collections and new product development
  • Maintaining production standards, consistency and quality control
  • General production and kitchen duties as required

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience or training in chocolate work, pastry, patisserie or confectionery.
  • Understanding of chocolate tempering and moulding techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Reliable, proactive and willing to learn

Remuneration
