R U OK? is a charity dedicated to creating a world where we are all connected and protected from suicide. We are a national suicide prevention organisation that inspires and empowers people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times.

Our work focuses on building the motivation, confidence and skills of the help-giver – the person who can recognise when someone might be struggling and take the time to ask, “are you OK?”.

We are a small, passionate and collaborative team, committed to making a meaningful impact in a complex and challenging space.

Working in suicide prevention can be deeply rewarding but also challenging. You may be exposed to confronting stories and experiences. We prioritise the wellbeing of our team and encourage self-care, reflection, and connection to personal support networks. We value empathy, compassion and looking after ourselves and each other.
