We're working with a global law firm who is continuing to grow their Brisbane practice.

The opportunity

This opportunity would suit a lawyer with approximately 1-4 years' PAE in litigation who is looking to develop their career under the guidance of an experienced mentor in a genuinely supportive team environment.

While the focus is professional indemnity, the work is essentially litigation and includes:

• Professional indemnity claims across a range of professions

• Coverage and policy advice

• Financial services and AFCA disputes

• Directors & Officers matters

• Construction-related professional indemnity work

• Commercial litigation and dispute resolution matters

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with senior lawyers on all aspects of matters, including:

• Strategy development

• Preparing briefs to counsel

• Drafting pleadings and correspondence

• Coverage advice

• Client management

• Litigation in superior courts and tribunals

About you

Importantly, prior professional indemnity experience is not required.

We're open to lawyers with 1-4 years PAE from a broad range of litigation backgrounds, including commercial litigation, insurance litigation, construction disputes and general dispute resolution.
