This role offers the chance to work with a highly specialised therapy that is transforming treatment pathways for patients with complex valvular heart disease.
We are seeking expressions of interest from both experienced Medical Device professionals and clinically qualified candidates looking to transition into industry. Whether you come from a commercial background within Structural Heart, TAVI, Aortic, Interventional Cardiology or related cardiovascular therapies, or from a clinical background such as Cardiac Sonography, Cardiac Cath Lab, Structural Heart Nursing, or Clinical Education, we would love to hear from you.
The Opportunity
As a Therapy Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting a highly advanced structural heart therapy across Sydney. This is a unique hybrid position combining clinical expertise, procedural support, education, stakeholder engagement and business development.
Working closely with interventional cardiologists, echocardiographers, cardiac surgeons, valve coordinators and multidisciplinary heart teams, you will become a trusted clinical and technical expert within your accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive therapy adoption and support territory growth across key hospital accounts.
- Provide clinical and procedural support during complex structural heart interventions.
- Assist physicians and multidisciplinary teams with patient selection and case planning.
- Deliver education and training programs to clinicians and hospital stakeholders.
- Develop strong relationships with referring cardiologists and heart teams to support patient pathways.
- Collaborate with customers to optimise screening, referral and procedural processes.
- Support local and national educational programs, workshops and conferences.
- Act as a trusted clinical resource for physicians and healthcare professionals.
About You
Medical Device Sales Professionals
- Experience in Structural Heart, TAVI, Interventional Cardiology, Aortic, Electrophysiology, Cardiac Rhythm Management or related cardiovascular therapies.
- Demonstrated success managing complex hospital-based sales environments.
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive therapy adoption.
Clinical Professionals
- Cardiac Sonographers.
- Senior Cardiac Nurses.
- Cath Lab Specialists.
- Clinical Educators within Cardiology or Structural Heart.
- Other experienced cardiovascular clinicians seeking a transition into industry.
Ideal Experience
- Exposure to echocardiography, structural heart or catheter-based procedures is highly regarded.
- Strong clinical aptitude and ability to understand complex cardiovascular therapies.
- Experience supporting physicians in procedural environments.
- Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- A passion for education, innovation and improving patient outcomes.
