About The Role

As Chapter Lead DevOps Services, you will build and develop a high-performing DevOps capability across multiple product teams. You will guide modern engineering practices, support delivery outcomes, and uplift platform maturity. Working closely with technology and business leaders, you will drive improved developer experience, reliability, and innovation.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a chapter of DevOps engineers, supporting their growth while ensuring consistent delivery across squads.
• Lead the adoption of new SaaS-based engineering platforms (e.g. GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Copilot, Atlassian suite, monitoring tools) within squads
• Drive adoption of CI/CD, automation, and SRE practices to improve system reliability and deployment outcomes.
• Partner with architecture, platform, and product teams to align DevOps strategy with enterprise technology direction.
• Enable AI-assisted engineering practices, including automated testing and intelligent observability, to improve delivery quality.
• Improve developer experience by introducing self-service platforms, streamlined pipelines, and efficient toolchains.
• Monitor performance using metrics such as DORA and translate insights into continuous improvement initiatives.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated leadership experience developing and supporting engineers in DevOps or software engineering environments.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms such as AWS, and infrastructure as code practices.
• Experience leading or contributing to platform engineering transformations, development of developer platforms or shared engineering services
• Demonstrated experience driving of AI and automation in engineering workflows, including tools for testing, monitoring, or code generation.
• Experience applying DevOps and SRE principles across large-scale or complex enterprise environments.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders in large transformation programs, balancing strategic and delivery priorities
• Proven capability to apply data-driven decision making, using metrics to improve engineering outcomes.
