Operations and Compliance Manager

We're hiring an Operations & Compliance Manager at NASCA- Hybrid role in Redfern, NSW.

NASCA is a 100% Indigenous-led organisation. Since 1995, we've supported over 17,000 young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people through programs built on culture, sport, and community. The work is real, and so is the impact.

We're looking for someone who takes genuine pride in getting the operational detail right — because at NASCA, that detail protects people and keeps programs running.

What the role involves...

You'll own our HRIS, lead WHS across a dispersed multi-site workforce, manage workforce compliance end-to-end, and develop policies that are both legislatively sound and culturally safe. You'll join a collaborative People & Operations team and be the person who makes sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Who You Are…

You're a people-first, detail-driven Operations professional who meets the following criteria:

• 3+ years in HR, compliance, or operations
• Hands-on experience with an HRIS platform (preferably Employment Hero or one similar)
• Strong knowledge of WHS regulations and Australian employment law
• A systematic approach and the ability to manage competing priorities across a dispersed team
• Genuine understanding of and respect for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and cultures

On top of that: $104,000 base + super + NFP salary packaging (up to $18,550 tax-free), 4 weeks annual leave, 6 weeks paid parental leave, cultural/ceremonial leave, EAP, and a Growth & Development budget.
