This is a wonderful opportunity for a Level 3 Dietitian to work within a multidisciplinary team to provide nutrition services and expert clinical guidance to children up to the age of 12 years and their families. The position is based in the Kids Hub service and will be part of a multi-disciplinary community team of Medical, Nursing, Allied Health clinicians and other support positions. The Dietitian will work alongside another Kids Hub Dietitian and will work collaboratively with other Kids Hub team members to achieve best clinical outcomes.

This new service is part of a nation-wide roll out of Kids Hubs jointly funded by NSW Health and the Australian Government to provide early intervention mental health and wellbeing support for children up to the age of 12 years. The Kids Hub will be prioritising referrals for vulnerable families and the intervention approach requires the child to be seen within the context of the family and their social support structures. The role will require a range of therapeutic approaches including provision of education, working directly with children or their parents/carers, group work and telehealth service provision.

The Kids Hub service is based in a newly refurbished building in Fairy Meadow with outreach provided to Warilla, Kiama and the Shoalhaven area.

This is a temporarily funded position until 27 June 2027 with the possibility of an extension subject to funding.
