  • Facilitating and delivering effective and efficient women’s health clinical services to the population most at risk of poor health outcomes
  • Developing and providing women’s health education, community development and health promotion programs

About You

You describe yourself as a highly skilled clinician with current registration through the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, supported by relevant post‑registration qualifications and more than three years of focused experience in your specialised clinical area. You bring advanced capability in women’s health and sexual health, backed by recent hands‑on practice that has strengthened your assessment, clinical decision‑making and therapeutic care.

You demonstrate a strong understanding of the complex issues affecting marginalised women, including the health impacts of domestic and family violence and sexual assault. You recognise how these experiences shape the wellbeing of women, children and families across both mainstream and Aboriginal communities, and you approach this work with sensitivity, cultural awareness and a commitment to trauma‑informed care.

You work confidently both independently and within multidisciplinary teams, contributing collaboratively while also taking initiative when clinical leadership is required. You have a proven ability to mentor and coach nursing staff, supporting their professional development and helping build capability across the service. Your leadership extends to initiating and guiding activities that improve service delivery and strengthen patient outcomes, demonstrating your commitment to continuous improvement.

Your communication skills—written, verbal and interpersonal—are complemented by your effective use of information technology and clinical systems. You maintain clear, accurate and timely documentation and engage with colleagues and clients in a way that supports trust and shared understanding.
