We work closely with experienced nurses to secure flexible, eligible regional contracts that align with your skills and lifestyle.

About the Role

You’ll be working across rural and remote acute wards, where your clinical judgement, adaptability, and strong patient‑care focus will make an immediate impact. These facilities rely on confident Registered Nurses who can manage a broad range of presentations and maintain high standards of care in fast‑paced, resource‑limited environments.

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
  • Medication administration including IV therapy, infusions, and safe documentation
  • Managing acute and complex presentations across medical, surgical, and mixed wards
  • Coordinating patient care with multidisciplinary teams
  • Responding to deteriorating patients and participating in emergency calls
  • Wound care, post‑operative care, and discharge planning
  • Supporting rural health teams where broad scope and autonomy are essential

Roles may be based in medical/surgical wards, emergency‑linked wards, multipurpose services (MPS), or small regional hospitals, often requiring a flexible and adaptable skill set.

Requirements

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 2 years’ acute care or ward nursing experience
  • Full Australian working rights
  • Confidence working autonomously in rural and remote settings
  • Strong clinical assessment, time‑management, and communication skills
  • Experience in medical, surgical, ED‑linked wards, or MPS environments is highly desirable
