About the Role

We seek an enthusiastic Administration officer to join our vibrant Molecular Genetics department in Macquarie Park. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

• Addressing telephone enquiries for DNALabs relationship testing, NIPT, carrier screening and many other genetic tests
• Carrying out administrative tasks for genetic testing, such as gathering information from patients and doctors
• Unpacking and processing of specimens in a timely manner in accordance with strict legislative guidelines
• Recording key information in our databases and carrying out other duties as directed by management.
• Laboratory aide duties

Ideal candidate

• Strong computer literacy, particularly in the Microsoft Suite.
• Is open to working full-time hours rostered Monday to Friday, between 6.30 am and 6 pm.
• Tertiary level of studies in Science
• A hard-working, motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a team player
• Strong attention to detail with good time management and customer service skills
