What You Will Be Doing
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive administrative support to the operations team, with responsibilities including job sheet data entry, contingent workforce administration and timesheet management, job costing, document collation to support customer invoicing, purchasing activities, internal and external reporting, and general administrative duties. The role will also involve providing leave coverage for team members and participating in cross-training initiatives to ensure operational continuity.
To be successful in this position, candidates will possess exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to effectively manage competing priorities to meet business deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently. Candidates should be confident using spreadsheets at a basic to intermediate level and demonstrate the ability to adapt to new systems and changing business requirements. Previous experience in a similar administrative role and accounts knowledge will be highly regarded. Experience working with SAP or similar systems, Employee Hub, Google Platform and Applications, and Ariba will be advantageous.
What You Will Need
- Drivers Licence & Reliable Car.
- Ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical & DAS.
- Previous payroll/ data entry exp.
- SAP or similar accounting database system exp.
- Kronos or similar timekeeping system exp.
- Purchasing/ Accounts Payable exp.
- Reporting/ Data analysis exp. (internal and client)
- Client job costing and/ or invoicing exp.
- Spreadsheet skills/ exp. (intermediate level)
- Previous experience working on an industrial site or similar environment
- Previous experience working with multiple and/ or cloud based systems
- Previous experience in fleet/ equipment maintenance
