Community Development Officer - Disability, Seniors and Multicultural

The role will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to effectively support the community and Council in designing and delivering community-based programs that empower people with disability, seniors and multicultural communities. This role requires a keen eye for detail and opportunity, highly developed communication skills and comfortable dealing with community groups and Councilors.

What this role looks like
•Apply strategic thinking based on informed data analysis and effective community relationships to address local community services needs
•Develop and deliver the calendar of programs and activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in accordance with priorities, including Seniors Week and International Day of People with Disability activities and events
•Engage with community stakeholders to build collaborative relationships to understand and address issues impacting vulnerable groups in The Hills
•Tertiary qualifications in Community Services or min 5 years of relevant experience
•Drivers Licence (Class C) NSW.
•Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
