People & Culture Advisor

About the role

Join our People and Culture Team as a People & Culture Advisor where you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality HR support and contribute to a positive employee experience. This is a parental relief backfill opportunity, with the potential for extension or ongoing employment.

Working closely with the People & Culture team, you will support operational HR processes and provide timely advice to employees and leaders across our diverse organisation, supporting services including Aged Care and Early Childhood Education, offering variety and meaningful impact in your day-to-day work.

Key responsibilities

• Support end‑to‑end HR operational support across the employee lifecycle
• Support recruitment processes, including job ads, pre‑employment checks and onboarding
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems
• Prepare contracts, variations and employment documentation
• Build strong working relationships with leaders and employees across the organisation
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and P&C projects

About you

You're a proactive, organised HR professional who enjoys working in a collaborative team and supporting leaders and employees to deliver clear, practical advice. You bring a high level of professionalism, discretion and take pride in producing accurate work.

You will bring:

• 2–3 years’ experience in an HR operations or advisory role
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent client service and attention to detail
• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline.
